Last Minute Halloween Costumes

I know Halloween is only four days away. I know it’s crazy to even think about making a costume at this point. I know everyone is insanely busy with work and kids and family, but….
But, but, but these are truly simple, last-minute, easy to whip up costumes. A quick trip to the Dollar Store, or one of those one-stop-shopping stores, a few things from around the house, and I know you’ll be able to pull this off. And the kids will love it. We never bought our costumes when I was a kid – back in the last millennium. Making them out of things around the house was part of the fun.
Most of these are dependent on knit clothing that is complimentary to your costume of choice. I was going to mention fabric dye but I won’t. No. I won’t. Don’t even think about it. Well, only if you want to. No pressure.
I found these at Martha Stewart. Now we all know that “Martha-projects” can be a tad bit intricate and require some expertise at times, but these were the easiest among a selection of 42. Check out the rest of them and get instructions for all of the following here. They’re so imaginative, and isn’t that what Halloween is all about?
Too much cheer leading? Okay, you don’t have to do it, but aren’t they cute?
